Tom Brady, the NFL's only quarterback to win seven Super Bowl titles while playing for the New England Patriots from 2000 to 2019 and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2020 to 2022,[1][2] has pursued diverse ventures since retiring after the 2022 season.
Brady serves as the lead color commentator on FOX Sports' top NFL broadcast team under a reported 10-year, $375 million contract announced in May 2022.[3]
He is also a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, with the NFL finance committee approving the sale of a stake to a group including Brady in May 2023.[4]
In addition, Brady was named Chief Wellness Officer of eMed Population Health in April 2024.[5]
During an appearance on FOX Business' "Mornings with Maria," anchor Maria Bartiromo asked the 47-year-old former quarterback whether he would consider pursuing majority ownership of an NFL team.[6]
"Great question. I gotta work pretty hard. I paid ordinary income taxes for a very long time in the NFL. And these valuations have gotten very expensive," Brady replied.[6]
Brady expressed appreciation for his current positions, including broadcasting with partner Kevin Burkhardt, his Raiders involvement, and sharing lessons from his career to inspire others. He noted receiving more cheers than boos at stadiums in his new role.[6]
Brady also stated that YouTuber and wrestler Logan Paul impressed him during the Fanatics Flag Football Classic.[6]
